Where in the JDE World is Edward?

This past April at COLLABORATE16, my colleagues at TeamCain and I were introduced to the newest member of Oracle.

Edward is a “rover”-ing reporter who travels to Oracle JD Edwards most active customers. He details the innovative strategic projects which customers are embarking on as well as live-tweets from events. We were lucky enough to have Edward join us at INFOCUS 2016 in August. He came with us to discuss World strategy at the SIG, sat through various keynotes and presentations, cheered on the Colorado Rockies, drank some lattes and attended our ERP Governance session.

After INFOCUS, Edward travelled to Nebraska to spend some time with our friends at Hamilton Telecommunications. There he observed how they set up their ERP Governance and Roadmap strategy.

Hamilton had asked TeamCain to perform an ERP Roadmap Assessment to develop a roadmap for selecting, developing, implementing and governing business process improvements which utilize enterprise software applications. If you’re interested in their story, watch this video.

He also saw TeamCain and Hamilton implement Fixed Assets firsthand and then took a break to visit JDE co-founder Ed McVaney’s alma mater, the University of Nebraska.

After hanging out with Hamilton Telecommunications, Edward headed to Oregon to see what JD Edwards customer, Port of Portland, was up to. Here he took in the gorgeous views of the airport traffic and Mt. Hood as well as watched Port of Portland print checks using TeamCain’s BI Publisher Packs templates.
