Equential’s Hot New Application for Large Job Sites
Equential Time & Attendance Module
Some large jobsites now require access control and at the same time have a need to capture time for employees against various designations (job step/class, cost codes, etc). Equential’s Time Keeping with Access Control module allows for the use of time-clocks, identification badges, and turnstiles to control access to the job site or areas within the jobsite. Identification badges can be prepared for employees on site regularly, subcontractors, or even impromptu visitors like inspectors or owner representatives. Premise reports can be produced at any time for an accurate count of who is currently on site and where they were within the job site. This timekeeping software allows for great flexibility in control and compliance, use of snap rules, use of actual or rounded time keeping, punch rules, access windows, and so much more.
In addition by utilizing time clocks and punch rules, Equential’s Timekeeping with Access Control application allows you to eradicate “phantom payroll” or the “time gap” between what the employee actually worked and what the company actually paid for. Phantom payroll can amount to 3-5% of total payroll costs and is a real challenge for many construction companies today who still utilize a strenuous manual process. The capture time clock punches are recorded, are auto adjusted per your designated punch/snap rules. The data then auto-populates the foreman’s timesheet so that he or she can allocate each employee’s time to appropriate jobs and cost codes. The captured information is sent to the web based Management Suite where it is reviewed and approved and then routed back into the correct locations within the ERP via the Z-file process.
