- TeamCain, an award-winning J.D. Edwards alliance
partner, today announced three partnerships becoming the
exclusive Canadian distributor for ARCTOOLS™, a
Create!form® International Gold Partner for distributing
Create!form® products in Canada, and in partnership with
BOPAR Systems, a Montreal-based solution provider, the
only Canadian authorized reseller and implementation
partner of RF-SMART™. These customer-focused solutions,
available starting today, position TeamCain as the most
comprehensive J.D. Edwards service partner in Ontario and
a premier consulting organization for J.D. Edwards product
extensions to hundreds of J.D. Edwards customers across
Canada.
RF-SMART
is a suite of wireless data collection software,
Create!form provides output solutions for document
formatting, management and delivery and ARCTOOLS/400™
seamlessly purges and archives enterprise computer
systems.

RF-SMART

developed by ICS Inc., automates data collection by
providing real-time integration with J.D. Edwards' 5,

and greater efficiencies in moving products to customers.
With the right combination of RF devices businesses can
update J. D. Edwards' transactions on a Personal Digital
Assistant, truck mount or stationary scanner.
Create!form
Create!form products extend the power of J.D. Edwards 5
enterprise solutions and J.D. Edwards WorldSoftware™ by
providing efficient and cost-effective solutions for
document formatting, management and delivery. For example,
Mizuno Corp., one of the world's largest sporting goods
manufacturers, saved $40,000 US by eliminating the
majority of their pre-printed forms, nearly paying for the
entire Create!form deployment upon its launch.
As
the J.D. Edwards Certified Interface Alliance Partner for
output management, Create!form International product
benefits include installing quickly and operating reliably
and enabling non-technical staff to easily create and
update document designs. Create!form also saves money by
eliminating expensive pre-printed forms and e-enables
business communications by adding the power of automated
fax, email and archive capabilities to the output process.
ARCTOOLS/400
"Canadian companies have expressed the need to
effectively purge and archive data from different function
areas of their J.D. Edwards software," said Cain.

runtimes by up to 80 per cent while still being quick to
install and highly reliable."
Developed
by DCSoftware Inc, ARCTOOLS/400 increases the speed of
production systems and reduces computer program runtimes,
maximizing existing hardware capabilities and therefore
postponing any urgent upgrades. The newest release,
including a J.D. Edwards specific component, allows
customers to purge, archive and reorganize electronic
files with little or no programming and works while
allowing staff to continue normal computer operations
without interruptions.
As
an incentive for Canadian clients, TeamCain and DCSoftware
are offering a 10 per cent license discount to clients who
sign-up by April 30, 2003.
