With all the social networking sites out there – Twitter, LinkedIn, etc – it’s nice to find one that is dedicated to our area of expertise: all things Oracle and JD Edwards.
Quest is the community for Oracle ERP customers whether you are running JD Edwards (World and EnterpriseOne), PeopleSoft, Oracle or any of the many extended solutions such as Demantra, Hyperion, Primavera, and Fusion. If you are running any of those ERPs mentioned, Quest is the best way to connect with your peers.
We at TeamCain are a proud supporter of Quest and we’re very happy to be a Gold Partner for 2011. Like other various social media sites, Quest allows you to join groups, like user groups or special interest groups (SIGS), that give you access to different geographical communities. There are a number of forums that allow you to ask questions, find answers, connect with other users and organizations, and overall give you some perspective into what others are saying and doing with their ERPs. The Quest website has a full event calendar that displays the latest in person and online events that your organization might be interested in attending (like COLLABORATE, which is coming up soon - April 10-14, 2011; we’ll be there…will you?)
A key benefit of the Quest website is the online learning section where you can find out about online learning opportunities, like web-based sessions, on demand learning, and presentations in the File Library. These online learning opportunities can really maximize your knowledge level. Also, when you set up a profile, you get this really cool dashboard that suggests content on the site that you might be interested in (like forum posts or documents that have been uploaded).
An Example of Your Dashboard
If you are interested in all things Oracle and JD Edwards, why not log on to Quest today and connect to TeamCain - Michael Guerin (President), Sarah Mack (Marketing Programs Manager) and Ingrid Brammer. Watch out for TeamCain at various Quest user groups this year as well as at Collaborate! We’ll be giving away a free pass to Collaborate – stay tuned to our blog, twitter and LinkedIn feeds for more information!
