Extended Check Processing using BI Publisher and JDE Multi Bank Setup
Session ID: JDE-101940 | August 15, 2017 from 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM in Plaza Court 7

United BioSource Corporation, a leading provider of pharmaceutical support services, needed a way to migrate away from their existing Create!form / Transform solution and also get a more flexible solution on place to handle multiple bank accounts. Existing processes meant code changes whenever bank accounts, signing limits, signing authorities or MICR line details changed, which made the maintenance more complicated. They were also looking to use BI Publisher for their cheques. Hasan Khan ( Director, UBC Systems) had implemented this at a prior JDE customer, so knew a solution was out there. Come and hear his story of how the BI Publisher Pack AP Check solution, combined with a user controlled “in JDE” extension will provide the same flexibility as he enjoyed at his prior organization, along with BI Publisher flexible and sophisticated output. An overview of the full suite of BI Publisher Packs, and the flexibility in them, will also be presented.

Run, Drive, Spaceship – 3 Levels of Inventory Management in JDE
Session ID: JDE-102160 | August 16, 2017 from 11:15 AM – 12:15 PM in Director’s Row J

JDE (both World and EnterpriseOne) has a wealth of capabilities around Inventory Management. Are you aware of all of them, and the implications of the differing features and abilities? In this session, TeamCain will explore running (core Inventory functionality included lot and serial control, watch list ability, and overall management), driving (adding on Radio Frequency (RF or bar code scanning) as well as licence plating, and getting a spaceship (Advanced Warehouse Management). For each of these areas, the level of difficulty in setting it up and the benefits obtained will be explored (what do you get, what do you give). Concrete examples from multiple JDE customers will be offered.

Automatic Cash Application
Session ID: JDE-102120 | August 16, 2017 from 8:00 – 9:00 AM in Governor’s Square 11

At XSE Group, like many companies, cash application has been done manually from lockboxes for many years. With 10 legal entities, JDE companies, and bank accounts, the difficulties have continued to grow. In an effort to eliminate the last vestiges of manual data entry, improve accuracy and save time, they have successfully removed all data entry from AR operations. Come and see how this was accomplished painlessly.
